Perspectives.
Skyscrapers are
urbanism in extreme. They reveal interesting
viewpoints once looked at them from certain
angles. Photographing skyscrapers can result in
the most astonishing views of our urban
world.

Curves.
A road trip to Buffalo brought me along the the
way to Rochester, New York. Downtown Rochester
shows an eclectic mix of different building
styles. In the center the Chase building towers
over the mostly 1950's style houses and office
buildings.
The Chase building can be looked at in many different ways - and each reveals a different reality and is telling a different story.

Manhattan
Island.
New York City, or rather the borough of Manhattan
Island, is one vibrant location. Manhattan has
changed from when I first set foot onto this
island in 1998. The missing World Trade Center
seems like an ugly scar in the face of this
otherwise beautiful skyline. This scar and the
following events made me look at the biggest
symbol of freedom in a different way. Despite
being postcard style, I am very happy to have my
very own photographic version of the skyline
views of Manhattan Island.
